Councillor & Officer Guide
The Stats
Section titled “The Stats”Every plaque scan is counted — per plaque, stop, language and day — with no cookies and no personal data. Audio plays are counted per language too.
- Online dashboard with read access for the town.
- One-page monthly PDF report: scan trends, top stops, language split. Made for the annual report or a council meeting.
How to read them: scans per plaque justify the signage; plays per language justify adding languages; compare like-for-like months, not consecutive ones.
Requesting Content Updates
Section titled “Requesting Content Updates”You don’t get edit access — by design: content and signage have a single owner, so they never drift apart. Write to your Enacast contact; reasonable text changes are covered by the annual fee. If a change affects audio, we propose a quoted re-recording or an immediate transcript update.
Adding Languages
Section titled “Adding Languages”| Option | Indicative Price | Quality |
|---|---|---|
| Language with TTS narration | per tariff (request a quote) | automatic voice, labelled as such in the player |
| Language with human voice | per tariff (request a quote) | same quality as core languages |
Plaques are never reprinted: the QR stays the same.
If the Town Government Changes
Section titled “If the Town Government Changes”The service belongs to the town, not to a political colour. Content is also delivered as open files, and plaques point to permanent, remappable QR codes — you will never be left with dead signage.
