Signage — QR Plaques
Visitors scan exactly the plaque in front of them — no GPS auto-triggering in the wrong place, no numbers that don’t match any app.
The Permanent QR Code
Section titled “The Permanent QR Code”Every plaque encodes a short URL like https://app.enaarchive.enacast.com/q/<code>:
- The code is permanent: never deleted, only remapped. The plaque keeps working through redesigns, migrations, even product changes.
- An automatic monitor periodically checks that every code resolves to a live page.
- An orphaned code lands on the town’s route index — never an error page.
- Every scan is counted for the town’s stats.
